Val Penders has spent her entire career with one focus in mind, patient care. Since 2017, she has been working as a provider at Chester County Cardiology where she became accustomed to treating patients with multiple, complicated problems. She has always had a deep commitment to comprehensive patient care. Prior to 2017, Val worked many years in emergency rooms as a registered nurse and recognized the immensity of the opioid epidemic and its associated emergencies. During that time, she became interested in helping and treating those with addictions. Every patient’s different journey along with the vastness of the problem motivated her to join the Art of Science and Recovery, where she provides a warm and safe space to further assist those in recovery.
