Maria Fontanez walked the talk! Born and raised in the Kensington section of Philadelphia, she experienced first hand the pervasive destruction of drug use through the life and death of an immediate family member. Maria is a patient advocate beyond reproach. She is fully committed to guiding patients through the recovery process. With 15 years of experience interacting with patients and assisting in conflict resolution, Maria collaborates well with not only patients, but also staff. She has excellent interpersonal skills, is empathetic, organized, and trustworthy, and above all respects the diverse backgrounds of patients. During her spare time, Maria enjoys spending time with her children and family, advocates for her community, and pursues the little things in life including reading, listening to music, going for walks, and above all growing flowers.
